Here are the major symptoms of low testosterone (low T) in men, broken down by physical, emotional, and sexual effects:
One of the most common signs of low T is constant tiredness or lack of motivation. Even with enough sleep, men may feel drained or struggle to stay active.
Testosterone helps build and maintain muscle. Low levels can lead to weaker muscles, slower recovery after workouts, and increased body fat, especially around the stomach.
Low T often causes a drop in libido, difficulty achieving or maintaining erections, or less satisfaction with sexual activity. This can also affect confidence and emotional well-being.
Men with low testosterone may experience depression, irritability, anxiety, or difficulty concentrating. Hormone imbalances can directly impact mood and focus.
Low testosterone can interfere with normal sleep patterns, sometimes contributing to restless nights, light sleep, or even sleep apnea.
Since testosterone supports hair growth and bone health, low levels can lead to thinning hair, weaker bones, and decreased endurance. Some men also notice smaller testicles or hot flashes, similar to menopause symptoms in women.
If you’re experiencing several of these symptoms, call us today to set up a testosterone blood test. A simple blood draw can confirm whether your levels are below normal and if TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) might help.
We are looking forward to help you reach your health and weight loss goals.
